Simon Wilkinson is the founder of circa69 and has been an artist since graduation from business school in 1992. His work incorporates AV / installation / VR / online & performance, often combining all of these media simultaneously in works which seek to disrupt consensus reality and immerse audiences in experiences which blur the line between truth and fiction. His work has featured at Tate Modern, tours the international circuit regularly and been translated into several languages.

Stephen Hudson (The Sun That Casts No Shadow May, 2013)

Stephen Hudson has been a professional actor for 15 years within Theatre, TV & Film. Alongside this career he has developed a successful actor training practice. He currently teaches at BA & MA level at the Central School of Speech & Drama and East 15. Other institutions he has worked at include Drama Centre, Arts Educational, Royal Holloway, Manchester Metropolitan and the National Youth Theatre. His focus within training is the development of the psycho-physical potential of the actor and exploring how the outer physical form of the body affects the interior space within the individual. He trains twice a year with Master Gennadi Bogdanov at the International Institute of Biomechanics in Perugia. Other recent professional development has seen him train with Marcin Rudy (Song of the Goat), Ichiro Nakayama (Suzuki) and director Mike Alfreds. He has also trained and worked with Bogart/Landau's Viewpoints for over 20 years. He is most excited about how the possibilities of ongoing training enables actors to continue to inform and improve their practice. Whilst continued professional development for actors has been more of a US & European practice than within the UK, it's growing popularity within British performance is a welcome development which Stephen, as one of the founders of The Brighton Laboratory, is very excited to be part of.
